Marion Georgina Fraser Myers, 81, of Ammon, passed away January 31, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
Marion was born November 2, 1942, in Edinburgh, Scotland, to James Robertson Fraser and Florence Elizabeth Jolley Fraser, and remained a proud Scotswoman throughout her life.
On March 24, 1961, she married Donald Schiellack in Edinburgh. They had four children, Linda, Sharon, Dwayne “Butch,” and Lauren “Susie.” Marion and Donald were later divorced.
Marion moved to the United States and was naturalized in 1966.
On April 19, 2013, she married Richard Dean Myers in Helena, Montana. Marion and Richard made their home in Ammon, Idaho.
She was a very dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and traveling and seeing new things.
Marion is survived by her husband, Richard Myers of Ammon, ID; daughter, Linda A. (Michale) Darger of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Sharon E. (Ronald) Schiellack-Sims of Humble, TX; son, Dwayne “Butch” (Chris) Schiellack of Ventura, CA; daughter, Lauren Sue (Mike) Campers of Humble, TX; brother, Ronald (Linda) Fraser of England; sister, Gladys Yarborourgh of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Callow.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Ammon North Stake Center, 4363 East 17th Street, with Bishop Neil Price of the Ammon 16th Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Blackfoot Veterans Cemetery.
