Marion Deanna (Butte) Harris

Marion Deanna Butte Harris, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 13, 2024 at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.

She was born May 26, 1940, at the LDS Hospital to Linden David Butte Sr. and Marion Deon Brown Butte. Her family was living in Alpine, Wyoming and then moved to the Lincoln area. Deanna graduated in 1958 from Idaho Falls High School.

On March 15, 1969, she married Phillip George Harris in Shelley, Idaho. They had two children, Andrew Phillip Harris and Alaina Rowena Harris Fanning.

She always loved an adventure and doing fun things. She was a master crafter and always had a craft for everyone to enjoy at family gatherings.

Deanna is survived by her son, Andy (Tammy) Harris, of Henry, NE; daughter, Alaina Fanning of Firth, ID; grandsons, Riley (Megan) Harris of Fairbanks, AL and Blake Harris of Henry, NE; granddaughter, Jessica Fanning of Firth, ID; grandson; Jayden Harris of Sidney, NE; sisters, Elaine (Robert) McBride of Benton City, WA and Connie Simon of Meridian, ID; brother, Jeff (Mechelle) Butte of Idaho Falls, ID; sister-in-law, Linda Kramer and sister-in-law, Mona Harris.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Harris; parents, Linden and Marion Butte; and brother, David.

A small family gathering was held in her honor. No public service will be held.
