Marilyn Patricia (Smith) Kuhn

Marilyn Patricia Kuhn, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 16, 2025, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Marilyn was born November 28, 1936, in Winnemucca, Nevada, to Claude Henry Smith and Bernice Agatha Schmitt Smith. She grew up and attended schools in Winnemucca, and graduated from Humboldt County High School.

On July 16, 1955, she married Robert Lee Kuhn in Winnemucca, Nevada. Marilyn and Robert made their home in Lincoln, ID, where Marilyn worked as a personnel manager for the sugar factory, raised four kids, and worked on the family farm.

She was a member of the Red Cross, and Good Sam Rolling russets.  She enjoyed travel, crafting, gardening, puzzles, bowling, and treasured being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert Kuhn of Idaho Falls, ID; son, David (Wilma) Kuhn of Cheyenne, WY; daughter, Allison (Bob) Burnham of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Steve (Alethea) Kuhn of Winnemucca, NV; son-in-law, Kevin Bolinder of Firth, ID; sister, Virginia Mae Stenlund of Idaho Falls, ID; 13 grandchildren, 19  great-grandchildren and with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Bernice Smith; sister, Beverly Jane Smith; brother, James Mulcoy Smith; daughter, Sandra Bolinder; grandson, Steven Dustin Kuhn; and brother-in-law, Marvin Stenlund.
