Marilyn Kay (Johnson) Mecham

Marilyn Kay Mecham, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 27, 2020, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice.

Marilyn was born August 15, 1964, in Long Beach, California, to Larry George  Johnson and Nancy Kay Viard Johnson. She grew up and attended schools in Lakewood, California.

On June 9, 2007, she married Charles Rone “Chuck” Mecham in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marilyn and Chuck made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Marilyn worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Walmart.

She was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping and collecting antiques.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Mecham of Idaho Falls; mother, Nancy Kay Johnson of Lakewood, CA; brother, Larry Michael (Jody) Johnson of CA; sister, Lynn (Mike) Mari of CA and her grandchildren; brother, David Scott Johnson of CA; step-daughter, Bobbi (Verdes) Ostberg of Blackfoot, ID; step-sons, Brent (Angie) Mecham of Blackfoot, ID, Cody (Brenna) Jones of Pocatello, ID and Shane Mecham of Pocatello, ID; and 9 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry George Johnson.
