Marilyn Louise Eckels

Marilyn Louise Eckels, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 26, 2026, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia after a long illness.

Marilyn was born February 5, 1947, in LaGrange, Illinois, to Thomas Wootten Eckels and Mary Dilworth Eckels. She grew up and attended schools in Texas, New Mexico, and Naperville, Illinois, and graduated from Coe College in Iowa.

Marilyn is survived by her brother, Steve Eckels (Mary Beth) of Oregon, WI; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Eckels; and sister, Sara Eckels.
