Marie (Carter) Webster

Marie was born December 20, 1944, to Jim and Esther Carter in La Grande, Oregon. She passed away January 4, 2024, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

On November 16, 1973, Marie married the love of her life, Jack Webster, in McCall, Idaho. They moved to Dubois on the family ranch in 1975, and ranched until Jack’s passing on October 3, 2009.

Marie worked hard all her life. Her greatest joy was working alongside Jack and traveling, especially to bull sales.

Marie is survived by her sisters, Jeanne Carter and Joanne Carter; niece and nephew, Acadia Murphy and Michael Carter; and Jack’s daughters, Traci, Jamie, and Jolee.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents; and brother, Ellis Carter.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
