Maribel Resendiz

Maribel Resendiz Rojo, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 1, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Maribel was born November 22, 1973, in Hidalgo, Mexico, to Fransico Rojo Garcia and Maria Isabel Rojo. She grew up and attended schools in Mexico.

In 1989, she married Santos Resendiz Arteaga in Zimapan, Hidalgo. Maribel and Santos made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Maribel worked as a seamstress for Yellowstone Leather.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Maribel is survived by her loving husband, Santos Resendiz Arteaga; son, Uriel Resendiz; son, Pedro Resendiz; son, Eduardo Resendiz; daughter, Evelyn Maria Resendiz; father, Fransico Rojo Garcia; brother, Higinio Rojo; brother, Anastasio Rojo; sister, Maria Feliz Rojo;

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Isabel Garcia Rojo.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 145 9th St.; in Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held Friday, August 10th, at 6 p.m. with a visitation following until 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Burial will be in Fielding Cemetery.
