Marianna (Hogg) Collins

Marianna Hogg Collins, 94, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 14, 2023, at MorningStar Senior Living Center. She was under the care of Enhabit Hospice and her loving family.

Marianna was born March 19, 1929, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Norman Durrant Hogg and Mary Kathryne Scow Hogg. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

On May 29, 1947, she married Robert LeRoy Collins in Idaho Falls. Marianna and LeRoy made their home in Idaho Falls where they raised their children.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed square dancing.

Marianna is survived by her daughter, Mary Craig of Show Low, AZ; son, Warren Collins of Idaho Falls; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy Collins; son, Brent Collins; and grandson, Vance Gallup.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services, both visitations at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
