She was under the care of her family and Encompass Home Health and Hospice. Marian was born October 16, 1936, in a one-room log house in Buck, Idaho, to Alfred Moore and Lucille Finn Moore. She grew up and attended school in Ririe Idaho, and graduated from Ririe High School. Life wasn’t easy in those days; she and her siblings worked very hard on the farm. According to Marian, she and her brother Willard worked together to drive the farm equipment. He was too small to reach the pedals, so he would steer, while she worked the gas and brake. Her beloved dog “Chips” was always by her side. On June 30, 1954, she married Spencer Byington; daughter Merri Ann and son Jeffrey were born from this union. The marriage ended in 1959. In 1962 she married Jack Melvin Pfeiffer, and she was blessed with three more children - Buzz, Susan and Tom. Throughout her life, she called Ririe Idaho, Kanab Utah, Las Vegas Nevada, and Idaho Falls Idaho her homes. Her work experience was varied; she worked as a surgical aide at Sacred Heart Hospital in Idaho Falls, as a school nurse in Las Vegas, and as a bookkeeper and in sales for various companies. While in Las Vegas, she attended Las Vegas Community College, taking courses with a focus in counseling. She also volunteered as a drug counselor. She was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints faith. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards, bingo, bowling, and spending time with her family. Marian is survived by son, Jeffrey Byington and his wife Lisa, of Hawkins, TX, son, Buzz Pfeiffer of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Susan Pfeiffer Taylor and her husband Troy, of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Tom Pfeiffer and his wife Jana, of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Willard A.
