Marian Ethel Moser

Marian Ethel Moser, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Marian was born December 24, 1951, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Emory Lavar White and Beth Marion Twitchel White. She grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot, Idaho, and graduated from Blackfoot High School. She also attended Idaho State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She worked for the City of Blackfoot and Bingham County and as a paralegal in Rexburg and later worked as a Pre Sentence Investigator for the Idaho Department of Corrections. She loved working in the legal industry.

After marriages to Russell Goodwin and Jack Ramstaller ended in divorce, she met and married the love of her life, Douglas Moser. Doug and Marian were married on October 18, 2008, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they made their forever home.

Marian was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a cheerleader in high school. She loved yard work and music. She was a gifted pianist and could play anything by ear and she enjoyed singing.

Marian is survived by her husband, Douglas Moser of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Mandie Goodwin of Pocatello, ID; son, David Russell (Devon) Goodwin of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Marcia Knight of Blackfoot, ID, Marjorie Hansen of Salt Lake City, UT, Virginia (Steve) Hildreth of Idaho Falls, ID, and Connie Faye Peterson of Tucson, AZ; and grandsons, Teagan, Brexin, and Brayson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy White.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
