MARIA S. NAVA
IDAHO FALLS , ID -- Maria Samano Nava, 65, of Menan, passed away October 9, 2006, at Life Care Center.
She was born October 15, 1940, in Platanillo, Mexico, to Nicolas Samano and Francisca Pineda de Samano. She grew up and attended schools in Mexico. She moved to Idaho 28 years ago.
She married Faustino V. Nava May 18, 1990, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They made their home in Menan and she was a homemaker and mother. She also worked at Idaho Fresh Pack for many years.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 855 South Lee, with Father Jorge officiating. Rosary Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Father Jorge officiating. The family will visit with friends following the Rosary until 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.
