Margret May (Dekle) Butikofer

Margret "Maggie" May Butikofer passed away on November 10, 2023, in Rigby, Idaho, surrounded by her loving family.

Maggie was born on September 25, 1949, in Waco, Texas to Wilson Dekle and Camilla Bramlett Dekle.

Maggie spent her childhood in Texas and California. Her relationships with family and friends brought her the greatest joy. Maggie especially loved making cakes for the important people in her life on their special occasions.

Maggie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Butikofer, her daughter, McKala Butikofer, and her brother, Wilson "Sandy" Dekle.

She is survived by her sister, Pat (Ed) Sypherd of Upland, CA; her children, Shela Sermon of Idaho Falls, ID; Shawn (Audrey) Crane of Artesia, NM; Scott Pope of Idaho Falls, ID; Michael Dale Butikofer II of Juneau, AK; Jessie (Susannah) Butikofer of Mountain Home, ID; Danitra Blevin of Pocatello, ID; and Tyler (Amy) Butikofer of Grace, ID; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
