Margaret Orvick

Margaret Leola Hauser Orvick, 90, formerly of Stockton, California, passed away February 25, 2011, at Bonaventure of Idaho Falls Senior Living Community in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Margaret was born November 9, 1920, in Blythe, California, to George Henry Hauser and Ethel Chamberlin Hauser. She graduated from Redlands High School in Redlands. She worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II. She married Louis A. Orvick and they made their home in Lennox, California, and later in Stockton. Louis preceded her in death. Margaret moved to Idaho Falls in 2010. Margaret was a Christian and a member of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading and traveling. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Survivors include: Daughter: Marie Star Orvick, Claremore, OK and 2 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, John Orvick and Raymond Orvick. Memorial Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011, at Bonaventure of Idaho Falls Senior Living Community, 4000 South 25th East. Additional services will be held at a later date in Stockton, California. Burial of the ashes will be in Cherokee Memorial Gardens in Lodi, California. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID.
