Margaret Nelson

Click Here To View Memorial Video Margaret Betty Kronberg Nelson, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away on January 12, 2014, at Good Samaritan Village of Idaho Falls. She was born May 10, 1924, at Idaho Falls, Idaho to Charles Franklin Kronberg and Hazel Estelle Armstrong Kronberg. She grew up in the area and attended Lincoln Elementary, Scottsbluff Elementary, Holy Rosary Catholic School, O. E. Bell Junior High, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On June 23, 1946, she married Donald Ritchie Nelson in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Donald preceded her in death on January 5, 1977. Margaret was a devoted mother and homemaker and also worked at U&I Sugar. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, camping, fishing, playing pinochle, and watching old movies. Survivors are: Son: Dan (Melinda) Nelson, Boise, ID Son: Bill (Kathy) Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Roger (Jerri) Nelson, Boise, ID Daughter: Betty (Todd) Simon, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter-in-law: Rosemary Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband; her sisters, Ethel and Evelyn; her brother, Charles; a son, Bob ; and a granddaughter, Jolene. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon). The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery
