Margaret "Peggy" Elaine (Oliver) Jensen

Margaret “Peggy” Elaine Oliver was born May 18, 1952, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Marlene Diane Strong and Willard Roy Oliver. She was adopted by her paternal grandparents, Elaine Oliver and J Roy Oliver, and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho.

She enjoyed her growing up years, being able to attend church, various camps, and spending time with relatives and friends. One of her favorite things to do was driving her dad in the golf cart in the summer and attending the BHS basketball games with him in the winter. She enjoyed school, both learning and the activities.

She married Kim Tweety of Blackfoot. They had one son, Lee Jensen. That marriage ended and she later married Terry G. Jensen of Blackfoot. They had two children, Corinne Virginia Jensen and Edward Terry Jensen. They were married for 42 years until Terry’s passing.

Peggy enjoyed camping and fishing. She also loved sewing, needle arts, crocheting, and a wide range of crafts.

She became a born again Christian at the age of 26. This changed her life and was very important to her.

Peggy, 71, passed away on December 18, 2023, at her home.

She is survived by her sons, Lee Jensen of Billings, MT and Edward Jensen of Blackfoot, ID; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elaine and J Roy Oliver; two brothers, James and Bill Oliver; and her daughter, Corinne V. Jensen.

Peggy wanted her family and friends to know that she loved you all very much and is grateful for your presence in her life.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Blackfoot Christian Fellowship, 2550 Rose Road, Blackfoot, Idaho.
