IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Margaret "Maggie" Dumont Alley, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 29, 2008, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.
She was born December 9, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Eddie Wayne Dumont and Virginia Frances Iriana Dumont. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended Idaho State University.
She married Phillip McLean Alley June 9, 1973, in Petersburg, Virginia. They lived in Washington, D.C. briefly, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, for 34 years, and she moved to Idaho Falls two years ago to be near family. She worked as a secretary for the FBI, then as a secretary, teller, and Assistant Branch manager at First Virginia Bank.
She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family, crafting, collecting Star Wars and Star Trek memorabilia, watching science fiction on television, oldies concerts, and any kind of rock music.

Father: Eddie W. (Jean) Dumont, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Gary W. (Marie) Dumont, Rigby, ID
Sister: Karen Dumont, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Marie (Chris) Bloxham, Idaho Falls, ID
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Dumont, and her grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Deacon Alvaro Ponce of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
