Mable Mardean Tracy Nave, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 19, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was under the care of her loving family and Encompass Hospice. Mardean was born July 11, 1930, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard LaVearl Tracy and Viola Hammer Tracy. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Eastside Elementary, Osgood Elementary, O. E. Bell Junior High School, Idaho Falls High School and graduated from Salmon High School. On October 25, 1951, she married Rees Nave in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 10, 1964. Mardean was a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions within the church. Mardean had many interests and hobbies, but above all else she loved her family. Taking care of and being with them was the most important mission in her life. Mardean is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Rees Nave of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Debbie (Steve) Skinner of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Richard (Leah) Tracy of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Jerry (Karen) Tracy of Idaho Falls, ID; Grandson, Taylor Ray of Idaho Falls, ID; Grandson, Josh (Michelle) Skinner of Idaho Falls, ID; Granddaughter, Erin Skinner of Idaho Falls, ID. Great Grandchildren, Zachary Skinner and Zeke Skinner of Ririe, ID; She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, Gary Rees Nave, Larry Ben Nave, and an infant daughter, and a grandson, Joshua Rees Ray. Her brother, Burdett Tracy, and sister, Dorthy Jenson, also preceded her in death. Mardean was so loved by all who knew her. She was the light of her family’s life. We will love and miss her; she will forever be in our hearts. She is at peace. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Boyd Blair of the Idaho Falls LDS Castlerock Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
