Marcia Donnot, 81, of Idaho Falls passed away, May 8, 2017 at her sons’s home in Billings Montana.
She was born December 4, 1935 in Reno, Nevada to Theodore Hayes Simmons and Delores Marks Simmons.
Mom was a devout Christian. Her life was a testament of taking care of all people in her path. Whoever God sent her way she took them in and made sure they were taken care of. She loved with no conditions your hurt was her hurt. She left it all out there for everyone to see.
She was the sole support for her three kids and took on every battle for them and with them, she never let them down. To say the least she was a mother grizzly bear when it came to them.
She taught 6th grade for 30+ years in The Sacramento Unified School District in Sacramento California there she left life long impressions on her young students and other faculty who sent her letters of appreciation years later for the care and love she gave them.
She was witty yet naive to a lot of the worldly things her stories were as vivid as watching "Gone With the Wind" or " Pearl Harbor". She loved to read everything from major novels to Guideposts, she could never get enough. She is going to laugh at this one but she loved UGG shoes and I think that she owned every pair they ever made other than the sequin ones.
Mom we celebrate your life and also your death as you are in heaven laughing with the Big Man over all of it and you know exactly what I mean. You will and are missed here on this earth but I think you were greatly needed where you are now. Your kids love you and I mean all of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents and all of their brothers and sisters
