LOUISE MALLOY IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Mamie Louise Moore Malloy, 90, of Idaho Falls, Idaho died May 4, 2004, at Life Care Center. She was born September 5, 1913, in a little log house in Shelton, Idaho, the first child of Ira and Mary Ellen Ferguson Moore, and she had four younger sisters and three brothers. She attended elementary school in Shelton, and three years of high school in Idaho Falls. When a high school was built in Ucon, she finished her senior year and graduated there. She married James J. Malloy, May 21, 1946 in Idaho Falls, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 23, 1971. Her husband passed away March 20, 1974. She was a homemaker and worked in Idaho Falls for 30 years as a secretary and office manager at the David M. Sweeney Realty and Insurance Company, which later became Denhert Insurance Company. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving as a Primary teacher, Ward Librarian, and Relief Society President of the 14th Ward. She often gave rides to older ladies in her ward who wanted to go to church. She loved going to lunch with her sisters and serving in the Temple. Two years ago she moved to Lincoln Court, and after a fall on New Year's Eve, she has since resided at Life Care Center. Surviving are: Brother: Lloyd (Genevieve) Moore, Portland, OR Sister: Elda Brown, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Bernece (Dilbert) Otteson, Idaho Falls, ID 14 nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Reva and Lila, and brothers DeLon and Dale. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2004 at Wood Chapel of the Pines (273 N. Ridge), with Bishop Mark Richardson of the Idaho Falls 16th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
