MAIDA J. ROOS
Maida Johnson Roos, 75, of Idaho Falls, died November 18, 2001, at her home.
She was born May 13, 1926 at Basalt, Idaho to Hans A. Johnson and Dora Chapman Hymas Johnson.
She married Charles A. Roos on July 28, 1943 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also sold Avon, worked at Tobin Dry Cleaners, and for 19 years sold shoes at JC Penney.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in numerous positions including Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society Secretary, Teacher in Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society, and as a Den Mother in the Scouting Program.
Surviving are:Husband: Charles Roos, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Vinn (Trudy) Roos, West Valley City, UTSon: Raeo (Cheryl) Roos, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Danny (Laura) Roos, Ammon, ID15 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. ,Wednesday, November 21, 2001, at the Idaho Falls LDS Rose Park Ward (351 West 14th Street), with Bishop Jeff Stark officiating. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
