MacKay “Mack” Leon Harris, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 1, 2014, at his home.
Mack was born April 12, 1925, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to B. L. Harris and Floy M. Johnson Harris. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Idaho State University and University of Idaho. He served in the United States Navy.
On September 13, 1947, he married Yvonne Fargo in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two sons, Mack and Richard. Mack and Yvonne made their home in Idaho Falls, where Mack worked as an Accountant for the site.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer - he shot his age 45 times. He was also a great bowler, competing in scratch leagues.

son, Richard Harris (Trisha) of OK;
grandson, Jason Spicer of CA;
grandson, Paul Harris of CA;
granddaughter, Jessica Flaro of CA;
grandson, Richard Harris of CA;
grandson, Tom Harris of WI;
granddaughter, Gillian Bridenbaker of CA;
great grandson, Zachary Harris of CA;
great grandson, Nathan DePinto of CA;
great grandson, Simon Harris of CA;
great grandson, Ethan Harris of CA;
great grandson, Liam Harris of CA;
great grandson, Thompson Harris of WI;
great granddaughter, Brooklynn Flaro of CA;
brother, Brent Harris of UT.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Fargo Harris; father, B. L. Harris; mother, Floy M. Harris.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with Pastor Larry Cudmore of First Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
