Lynn Thomson

Henry Lynn Thomson, 73, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 19, 2017, at his home in Star, Idaho.

Lynn was born April 2, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to the late Ray Leo Thomson and Edis Lea Wadsworth Thomson. He grew up in the Idaho Falls area. He attended Shelley High School where he graduated in 1961.

In February 1965, he married Dotti Robison-Thomson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later divorced in April 1977. He later moving to Alaska where he meet and married his wife Pamela Ruth Simar-Thomson and they were married October 14, 1989, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Pamela and Lynn continued to live in Fairbanks where Lynn worked as an electrician, equipment operator, and doing construction until they retired and moved Star, Idaho and bought their dream home.

He was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He enjoyed watching golf, hunting, and loved fishing.

Lynn is survived by his son, Shawn Thomson of Berlin, Germany; son, Trevor J Thomson of Boise, Idaho; daughter, Tisha Vanderwiel of Eagle, Idaho, step-daughter, Athena Graves-Gass of Star, Idaho; grandchildren, Che Berg, Andrew Berg, Mitchell Berg, Sena Thomson, Shaneetta Cofey-Anthony, Amaria Rodgers, Yvette Hornbeck, and Dayshaunarae Graves-Shaw; great grandchildren, Shane C Creft Jr., Sincere A. Wilkerson, Melodie A. Hornbeck, Ellijah J. Ruiz, Truly Ruiz, Ahzaria L Rodgers, and Promise Anthony; also left behind are a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by his wife Pamela R. Simar-Thomson, mother Edis Lea Wadsworth Thomson, father Ray Leo Thomson, sister Geneal Thomson Haycock, and two great granddaughters, Melodie P Percy and Antionette J Stanberry.
