Lynn Arthur Rowett, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 23, 2010, at Safe Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pocatello.
He was born February 25, 1926, in Ogden, Utah to Ernest John Rowett and Lucille Olsen Rowett. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Ogden High School. Following high school he joined the U. S. Navy and served during World War II as a Seaman First Class (Radioman).
On June 17, 1946, he married Marian LaVon Carter in Odgen, Utah. In 1950, they moved to Idaho Falls where they have since resided. He worked at INEL where he conducted tours for foreign visitors.
Lynn also was active in the scouting program and earned his Beaver Award. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps.

Daughter: Janet (Kevin Smith) Roberts, Shelley, ID
Son: Victor (Susan) Rowett, Idaho Falls, ID
6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica (Roberts) Wilson; his brother, Ernest; and his sister, Ernestine.
