LYNN L. RICHARDS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Lynn Leroy Richards, 83, of Idaho Falls, died January 29, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 19, 1919 at Moore, Idaho to Arthur Richards and Alice Pearl Perrenoud Richards. He attended grade school in California, but returned to Idaho where he graduated from Rexburg High School. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
On May 31, 1941, he married Verda Radford in Rigby, Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 6, 1958. He was a mechanic at local dealerships and later the maintenance supervisor for School District #91.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was happy doing anything with his family.
Surviving are:Wife: Verda Richards, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Linda (Bill) Wells, Medford, ORSon: Dale (Char) Richards, Medford, ORSon: Keith (Nancy) Richards, Rigby, IDSon: Brent (Jean) Richards, Talent, ORDaughter: Karen (Jay) Prophet, Rigby, IDDaughter: Kathy (Wayne) Hill, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Leila Lewis, Scottsdale, AZ 19 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, February 1, 2003, at the Wood East Side Chapel (963 S. Ammon Rd.), with Bishop Bill Scott, of the Iona LDS 4th Ward, officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side and for one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.
