In the twinkling of an eye, Lynn Arland Morgan left this life, surrounded by his family. He stepped into the next life where he was greeted by other family and friends. He would have preferred to stay here with his wife of 46 years, Jeannie Morgan, and his children, however, this was the best way he could win the battle with cancer. He is now in Heaven with his Mother and Father, Edward Nelson Morgan and Harriet Irinda Sorenson Morgan; seven siblings; his father-in-law, Thomas Lewis; and many beloved friends He was born on May 12, 1945, in Layton, Utah. He grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduating from South High School. Following graduation, he served in the U. S. Marines Corp as a private during the Vietnam War. On February 2, 1968, Lynn married Jeannie Eileen Lewis in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in the Salt Lake City area, where he was an avid off roader, scaring his scouts with his antics. They moved to Milo where they lived for 38 years. He worked as a drapery installer for 45 years for many different companies. He became a bus driver for District #93, which he loved. He retired from driving, but continued to be an attendant on a Special Needs bus. He loved his special kids and he was special to them. He retired in May after 23 years of service. Lynn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as scoutmaster and in the Young Men’s and Sunday School Presidencies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, camping, auctions, and buying cookies from Pepperidge Farms. He especially loved spending time with his wife going to gun shows and taking road trips together.
