Lynn Lavern Kelsey

Lynn Lavern Kelsey, 65, of Rigby, passed away August 31, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Lynn was born March 6, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Billie Reynolds and Nina Vermoine Bradley Reynolds, who were later divorced. In 1965, Nina remarried Charles David Kelsey, who adopted and raised Lynn and his brothers. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School.

On August 28, 1982, he married Lori Harris in Idaho Falls. They were blessed with two children, Kandis and Kamile. Lynn and Lori were later divorced. Lynn made his home in Ririe, Idaho, where he worked for Vista Valley Ag.

Lynn enjoyed working on classic vehicles, fishing and riding his dirt bike.

Lynn is survived by his two daughters, Kandis Kelsey of Mckinleyville, CA; and Kamile Melton of Cloverdale, OR; father, Bill Reynolds; brother, Scott Kelsey; and two grandchildren, Nico Silvaggio and Kenadee Melton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Nina Kelsey; and his brother, Steve Kelsey.

A Celebration of life will be held next summer.
