Lynda Laurine (Pearson) Terry

Lynda Terry, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 11, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Lynda was born February 27, 1941, in Thatcher, AZ, to Won Pearson and Helen Christensen Pearson.  She grew up and attended schools in California and Arizona and graduated from Downey High School in Modesto, California.

On June 12, 1959, she married Donald George Terry in Modesto, California. Together they had two daughters, Lori and Christy. Lynda and Don made their home in Modesto, California, where she was a homemaker and mother.

Lynda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This brought her many opportunities to serve, but she particularly loved teaching seminary and working with children.  She also enjoyed horses, and she won many awards. Above all, she loved to reach out and involve others in her life.

Lynda is survived by her loving husband, Don Terry, of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Lori (Charley) Gonzales of Nampa, ID, and Christy Lee (Mark) Nevel of Lincolnton, NC; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery with Bishop Hanson officiating.
