ELAINE FINN IDAHO FALLS, ID - Lula Elaine Finn, 77, of Idaho Falls, Idaho died October 14, 2004, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1927, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Franklin Thomas Norton and Luna Kinghorn Norton. She attended schools in Idaho Falls graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She lived in Salt Lake City for one year at the Beehive House. She married Gerald Jeffs Finn November 24, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived in Idaho Falls for four years, in Great Falls, Montana from 1950 to 1960, then moved back to Idaho Falls where she lived for a total of 67 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for Mountain Bell retiring June 1, 1982. She enjoyed her grandkids, ceramics and golf. Surviving are: Husband: Gerald Finn, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Larry C. (Carolyn) Finn, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Steven G. (Regina L.) Finn, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Dale (Barbara) Norton, Santa Rosa, CA Brother: Darrell Norton, Salt Lake City, UT Brother: Wilmer (Molly) Norton, San Diego, CA Sister: LaNae (Dean) Pettingill, Yuma, AZ 9 Grandchildren, 11Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at the Ammon LDS 14th Ward, 2055 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Lester Griggs presiding. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, October 19, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road, and for one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
