Lucille Gertrude Granschow Roderick, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2016, at the age of 93.
Lucille was born October 21, 1922, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Lawrence Emil George Granschow and Lucy B. Uhlemann Granschow. She grew up and attended schools in LaPorte and graduated from LaPorte High School.
On December 3, 1949, she married John T. Roderick in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. To this union were born two children, Grant and Lisa. Lucille and John made their home in Eugene, Oregon, where Lucille worked was a homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked in the Family History Library in Eugene and with the Scouts. She enjoyed painting, crafts, and spending time with her grandkids.
Lucille is survived by her son, Grant (Mona) Roderick of Veneta, OR; daughter, Lisa (Lawry) Wilde of Idaho Falls, ID; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Roderick; father, Lawrence Emil George Granschow; mother, Lucy B. Granschow; and sisters, Florence Wallis, Ruth Mayer, and Elaine Sells.
Burial will be in the Willamette National Cemetery beside her husband.
