Lucille J. Harmon - 10/07/2001 Lucille J. Harmon - 10/07/2001 LUCILLE J. HARMON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Lucille Jane Phillips Harmon, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully October 6, 2001 at Murray Care Center in Murray, Utah, at age 94. She was born February 22, 1907 to Eli James Phillips and Francis Jane Barnes in Downey, Idaho. She married Wendell Vernon Harmon Sept 29, 1926 in the Logan Temple, Logan, Utah. Lucille and Wendell, lived and farmed in the Ucon area, until Wendell's death in 1970. She stayed there until 1980, when she moved to Fort Hall, next to her son. Where she lived until 1993. She then moved to Salt Lake City to live with her daughters for six years. The last two years of her life, at the Murray Care Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints and held many positions in the Relief Society and the Young Women's organizations. She also worked as a Temple Patron for several years. She is survived by her children:Son: Devere P. Harmon (Francis) of Round Lake, ILDaughter: JoAnna Turner of Orangevale, CA;Daughter: Fannie Christensen (deceased); Son: Gordon W. Harmon (Jacquelyn) of Pocatello, ID;Daughter: Gloria Nemelka (Michael), Salt Lake City, UT;Daughter: Susanne Hunsaker (Dale) of Salt Lake City, UT; Brother: Eugene LeRoy Phillips of Rigby, Idaho.She leaves a posterity of 32 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2001, at the Pocatello LDS 44th Ward on North Yellowstone Highway in Chubbuck, Idaho. Viewing under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, Idaho Falls, Idaho will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
