Martha Lucile Hill, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 6, 2015, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living. She was under the care of her loving family and One Source Home Health. Lucile was born November 22, 1929, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Samuel Perry Yenne and Edith Ethel White Yenne. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On November 18, 1948, she married George J. Hill in Idaho Falls. To this union were born five children, Louise, Carolyn, Steve, Edna, and Brenda. Lucile and George made their home in Idaho Falls, where Lucile was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Her greatest joys were her seven grandchildren, Michael Dixon Jr., Paula Dixon, Chad Hill, Carrie Phelps, Scott Hill, Emma Dixon, and Jake Dixon; and six great grandchildren, Michael (Tommy) Dixon III, Austin Hill, Michelle Dixon, Kaytlin Ursenbach, Kyleigh Phelps, and Lydia Hill. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, flowers, gardening, reading, embroidery, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. Lucile is survived by her daughter, Louise Hill of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Carolyn (Michael) Dixon of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Steve (Jolene) Hill of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Edna Hill of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Brenda Hill of Idaho Falls, ID; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ethel Yenne; husband, George J. Hill; brother, Edward Yenne; and sister, Mary Yenne. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the LDS Chapel on 1165 Azalea Drive in Idaho Falls.
