Lucile Elizabeth Croft, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 28, 2013, at Lily Syringa Assisted Living Center. She was born May 24, 1923, in Galena, Kansas, to Milo Byron Swearingen and Annie Mae Wadkins Swearingen. She lived in Galena, Kansas, until she was nine years old when she moved to Norton, Kansas, where she lived until 1936. She then moved to Idaho Falls. She married David Birkinbine April 9, 1940, in Idaho Falls. They had three boys, Lee David Birkinbine, Greg Birkinbine and Brent Birkinbine. He passed away in May, 1975. Lucile married LeRoy Croft in 1979. Roy passed away April 30, 2010. She was mostly a stay at home mom but she worked at many different places before she went to work at Riverside Hospital. She really enjoyed working at the hospital until she retired 1985. Roy and Lucile went to Arizona in the winters from 1985 until the year 2003. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Lucile enjoyed crafts, cooking, bingo and card games. She is survived by son, Lee Birkinbine of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Greg (Ann) Birkinbine of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Brent (Lisa) Birkinbine of Texas; Stepson, Dennis Croft of Idaho Falls, ID; Stepson, Darrell Croft of Boise, ID; Stepdaughter, JoAnn Croft of Idaho Falls, ID; Stepson, Larry Croft Stepson David Croft Brother, Aldon (Marcia) Swearingen Sister, Virginia King Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim and Harold Swearingen and a stepson, Rick Croft. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday prior to the services, both at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
