Louise "Louise Stone" Stone

Ruth Louise Stone, 94, formerly of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Countryside Assisted Living in Rupert, Idaho. Louise was born January 8, 1917, in Woodville, Idaho, to Heber Grant matthews and Ruth Leuella McBride Matthews. She graduated from high school. Louise married Carl Dow Stone November 1, 1941, in Shelley. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where she was a homemaker and mother. She also worked at J.C. Penney Company. She and Carl operated S & S Tent & Awning until 1970. Carl died December 17, 2000. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Smith of Heyburn, ID, and two sons, Greg Stone of Parker, CO, and Mike Stone of Idaho Falls. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Fielding Memorial Park with her son, Greg Stone, officiating.
