WINONA WINN Click here to view a video tribute to Winona's life. IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Winona Alberta Winn, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 7, 2008, at Idaho Falls Health & Rehabilitation. She was born August 22, 1916, in Pleasant Grove, California, to Albert John Johnson and Winnie Mae Moses. She married Orson John Winn on July 10, 1942 in Reno, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized on February 24, 1968, in the Oakland, California LDS Temple. They made their home in Sacramento, California, where they raised their six children. She was a mother and homemaker. They moved to Pollock Pines, California, for a few years prior to relocating to Idaho Falls. Orson preceded her in death on July 28, 1995. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed doing genealogy and spending time with her family. Survivors include: Son: Les O. Winn, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Joanne Upton, Shingle Springs, CA Son: Ken Winn, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Richard M. Winn, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Gertrude Mae Potter, Sacramento, CA 16 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; a sister; a daughter, Jean Winn; and a son, Melvin Winn. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Les Winn officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at Wood Funeral Home.
