LOUISE J. HANSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Louise Jones Hanson, 91, of Idaho
Falls, died June 6, 2004, at her home.
She was born June 30, 1912, at Malad, Idaho, to John
W. Jones and Louise Bolingbroke Jones. She grew up and attended schools
in Malad, graduating from Malad High School. She attended Utah State
University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education
in 1954.
On May 26, 1939, she married Alma Hanson, Jr. in Twin
Falls, Idaho. A homemaker and mother, she also worked for almost 40
years as a teacher in Monida County, Rexburg, and for 24 years at Bush
Elementary in Idaho Falls. She was President of the Idaho Education
Association, a member of A.A.R.P., and served as Local and District
President and State Historian for the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She enjoyed close friendships, travel and her family.

Husband: Alma Hanson, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Nadine Moore, Phoenix, AZ
Son: John A. Hanson, Juan Bautista, CA
8 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June
8, 2004, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge), with Rex Butterfield,
First Counselor in the Idaho Falls LDS 18th Ward Bishopric, officiating.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday for one
hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home.
