Louise "Louise" George

Ethel Louise Brown George, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 19, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born December 19, 1929, in Anaconda, Montana to Earl Emanuel Brown and Ethel Lavera Walton Brown. At the age of 10, her family moved to Blackfoot, Idaho where she attended schools and graduated from Moreland High School in 1947. She completed one year of Nursing at Idaho State University. In 1949, she married Lloyd Lorenzo Nash and they moved to Idaho Falls. They divorced in 1962. In 1967, she married Bruce D. Cole and they were divorced a year later. Louise married Vernon Lee George in Thomas, Idaho on March 8, 1969. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked at Bonded Produce. She worked cleaning apartments and later worked at Slusser Wholesale until she retired. Louise enjoyed playing bingo, doing word searches, camping, reading, and taking trips including to the Grand Ole Opry. Survivors are: Husband: Vernon George, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Randy E. (Robin) Nash, Star, ID Stepson: David E. (Lisa) George, Everton, MO Daughter: Rhenda L. (James) Simon, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Dennis L. Nash, Boise, ID Brother: Larry (Faye) Brown, Boise, ID Brother: Ronald (Raylene) Brown, Blackfoot, ID Sister: Marian (Clawson) Leavitt, Satsuma, FL Sister: Vanessa (Shane) Christensen, Pingree, ID 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roy L. Brown and Demar Brown; a newborn sister; and a great grandson Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
