Louise (Fox) Cobia

Darylin Louise Cobia, 79, of Rigby, passed away February 9, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Louise was born February 2, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Darrel Wilson Fox and Melva Maud Goodson Fox. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon and graduated from Lehi High School in Utah.

On May 20, 1963, she married Glenn Gene Hodges in Salmon, Idaho. Louise and Glenn made their home in various places. Seven children were born from this union. They were later divorced.

On November 18, 1978, she married Charles Harrold Cobia in Elko, Nevada. Louise was a homemaker and baker for her family. They lived in Taylorsville, Utah, for about forty years. He passed away October 5, 2006. Louise returned to Idaho in 2020.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed baking and reading. Her family was her whole life.

Louise is survived by her son, Doug (Barbara) Hodges of Blackfoot, ID; son, Blaine (Angie) Hodges of Rigby, ID; son, Kenneth (Tonia) Hodges of West Valley City, UT; daughter, Ada (Mike) Glines of Murray, UT; son, Jason Hodges; son, Heath Hodges of Rigby, ID; brother, Darwin Fox of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Erwin Fox of Rigby, ID; brother, Kevin (Patti) Fox of Idaho Falls; sister, Chyrol Wilkerson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Julie (Dale) Hansen of Preston, ID; brother, Calvin (Kathy) Fox of Lehi, UT; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janet Hancock; grandson, Mike Hodges; great grandson, Deven Trahant; sister, Myrna Keele; and brother, Milton Fox.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Services will be broadcast live. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
