Louise Marie Brown, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on September 1, 2018. Louise was born in Idaho Falls on October 14, 1932, to F. William ‘Bill’ and Helen Gourley. Louise graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1951 and attended the University of Idaho. A lifelong resident of Idaho Falls, Louise was an active member of Christ the King Church. When she wasn’t traveling, she could often be found volunteering throughout the community, golfing, or playing bridge with her close girlfriends. She was deeply loved by many and will be sincerely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Pat Brown; longtime friend, Dale Atkinson; twin brother, Lewis Gourley; and son Patrick "Rick" Brown. She is survived by her children, Debra Lou Biorn, Debbie McCants, Michael (Nancy) Brown, Patricia (Glenn) Morgan; her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Christ the King Church, 17th Street and Woodruff, with Father Raul R. Covarrubias officiating. The family will receive guests immediately following at 1785 E. 16th Street in Idaho Falls.
