Click Here To View Memorial Video Dorothy Lorraine Jenson Hart, 69, of St. George, Utah, passed away August 23, 2014, at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah, of natural causes. Lorraine was born August 6, 1945, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Allan Newey Jenson and Dorothy Viola Tracy Jenson. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1963. She participated in the Miss Bonneville Pageant and Madrigals Choir, and was a member of the Bonneville Honeybees. French and Art were her favorite subjects. After high school she attended Brigham Young University, then returned in later years to Ricks College, where she earned her associates degree in education. She continued her education at Idaho State University, majoring in English and Special Education. On November 9, 1964, she married Richard Grover in Provo, Utah. To this union were born two children, Lisa and James. A wife, mother, and homemaker, she and Richard also owned and operated Northgate Schwinn Cyclery & Sports. They were later divorced. She also worked in education and in the medical field. On March 25, 1983, she married Jack Michael Hart at Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. To this union was born a daughter, Sheritee. Lorraine and Mike made their home in Idaho Falls and Nevada until Mike passed away October 4, 1992. Lorraine continued to live in Idaho Falls until later moving to St. George. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years. Lorraine enjoyed visiting with family and friends, reading, and gardening. Family was very important to her, especially spending time with her grandchildren; she devoted her life to her family. Lorraine is survived by daughter, Lisa Lorraine Ragan of Idaho Falls, ID; son, James Richard (Jennifer) Grover of Lehi, UT; daughter, Sheritee Anne Hunter of St. George, UT; brother, Richard Allan (Debby) Jenson of Spicewood, TX; sister, Loretta Ann Jenson of Idaho Falls, ID grandchildren, Trevor (Kimber), Casey (Brandi), Dallin, and Keaton Ragan; Emily, Brianna, Joshua, Lauren, Jeffrey, and Michael Grover; and Braylee and Boston Hunter; two great granddaughters due in November, as well as numerous stepchildren and step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mike, a son-in-law, Brandon Hunter, grandson, Jacob Chen Grover, and a brother, James LaNel Jenson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
