LORNA ESPLIN
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Lorna Cox Esplin, 72, long-time Shelley resident, died December 1, 2005, at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab.
She was born October 19, 1933, in Shelley, Idaho, to Leonard Delaun Cox and Flora Larue Harker Cox. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley, graduating from Shelley High School.
She married Don M. Esplin January 30, 1951, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They raised four daughters and two sons. She had worked as a legal secretary and worked with her husband in the family farming business. Her husband preceded her in death April 24, 2002.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the Relief Society, the primary and Young Womens organizations. She enjoyed sewing, playing piano, cooking, traveling and especially family and church activities.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation for the care given to their mother by the staff at the Idaho Falls Health and Rehab.

Sisters: Amelia (Myron) Robbins and Violet Peterson
31 Grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Joanne Hampton.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour before the services Monday, both at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
