Lorna Lorraine (Brown) Tonks

Lorna Lorraine Brown Tonks, 66, of Ammon, passed away April 3, 2023, at her home. She was under the care of OneSource Home Health & Hospice and her loving family.

Lorna was born August 1, 1956, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Tommie J Brown and Pearl Elizabeth Foster Brown. She grew up in Roberts and Osgood, Idaho. Her family moved to Idaho Falls at age 11.

On January 21, 2009, she married Perry Earl Tonks in Blackfoot, Idaho. Lorna and Perry made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Lorna worked for DePatco and Sunroc.

Lorna was a Christian and attended The Bridge Church in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Lorna is survived by her loving children, Amber Tonks of Idaho Falls, ID, Ashley Tonks of Idaho Falls, ID, Megan (Nick) Clapp of Idaho Falls, ID, Mandy (Mike) Wolfe of Idaho Falls, ID, Isaac (Heather) Miller of Hailey, ID, Adam (Maria) Wolfe of Idaho Falls, ID, and Mike Wolfe; step-daughter, Cassie (Dan) Sanderson of Aurora, CO; three brothers, Daniel (Cora) Brown of Golden, CO, Kenny Brown of Idaho Falls, ID, and Montie Joe (Tina) Brown of Idaho Falls, ID; one sister, Margo Rader of Idaho Falls, ID; 28 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Earl Tonks; daughter, Maddie; and her parents.

Funeral arrangements are pending. Burial will be in the Victor Cemetery.
