LORI ANNE OSTERMILLER
BILLINGS, MT --
At the age of 40, our wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter and sister, Lori Ostermiller died peacefully with her family at her side following a courageous battle with cancer. Lori died at Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings on Monday, October 6, 2008. The daughter of Voyd C. and Marie A. (Wilde) Ward, Lori was born October 20, 1967 in Idaho Falls, ID.
Following her schooling in Roberts and West Jefferson, ID, Lori moved to Billings, MT in 1997 where she began working for the Vision Center. She continued her training and received a degree in Optometry, which was the beginning of her career as an optometrist. In November, 2006, Lori was united in marriage to David Ostermiller in Billings.
Lori enjoyed the outdoors, loved the time she spent with family and friends, but the highlight of her life were her grandchildren. As soon as anyone met Lori, what that person saw was a generous, giving spirit and an aura that showed she cared. You couldn’t help but instantly realize how special Lori was. Never one to judge people, Lori always put others’ needs before her own.
Lori leaves behind her husband David; daughters: Kasey and Kourtnie; son Jacob; granddaughter Lillian; grandson Kayden all of Billings; sisters: Parva, Rhonda, Laurie, Dawna, Vickie; brothers: Chad, Bill, Kevin; mother Marie Ward of Roberts, ID; grandparents Avon and Cloy Wilde of Roberts, ID.
