Click Here To View Memorial Video Loretta Ann Jenson, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 3, 2015, at her home. Loretta Ann Jenson was born on December 23,1953 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the fourth child born to Allan Newey and Dorothy Viola Tracy Jenson. She grew up in Idaho Falls where she attended Lincoln Elementary, Ammon Jr. High, and Bonneville High school. While she was in high school Loretta was active in several clubs: Thespians, Medical Careers, Political club and Literary Magazine. She also was a Girl's state delegate and a four year LDS Seminary graduate. Loretta graduated from Bonneville in 1972. She also attended Ricks College, Idaho State University, and Eastern Idaho Technical College. Loretta married Hugh Michael (Mike) Curtis Jr. on March 27, 1973 in Pocatello, Idaho, She became an instant mother to Mike's three children: Mike III, Sonja, and MaDonna. Mike and Loretta were later divorced. On May 16, 1982 Loretta gave birth to her beloved son, Christopher Allan Jenson. She married Gary Leroy Mills on June 21,1986 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S, Temple. They later divorced. Loretta worked in the medical field as an office manager until 1984 when she started her career in education. She worked primarily for Bonneville School District 93 as a para-educator/CNA. She especially enjoyed the time she spent working as an assistant librarian at Bonneville High School. She also worked at Rocky Mountain Middle School, Hillview Elementary, Falls Valley Elementary, and at Madison High School in Rexburg. Loretta was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints holding several positions in the Primary and Relief Society. Her favorite being that of chorister. She also enjoyed serving on the Primary board of the Idaho Falls Spanish Branch. Loretta was an avid reader that could seldom be found without a book or some other reading materials. She also enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Summer was her favorite season. And in her opinion, everything should be purple! Loretta is survived by her beloved son, Christopher Allan Jenson of Idaho Falls, brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Debby Jenson of Spicewood, Texas,. Nieces & Nephews, Lisa Ragan & family, James & Jennifer Grover & family, Sheritee Hart and family, Amanda Jenson & family, Jarod & Myka Jenson & family, Travis & Melissa Jenson & Family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, her sister Lorraine Hart, her brother James LaNel Jenson, her nephew Shane Jenson, her nephew Jacob Chen Grover, and her niece Ellsie Lorraine Ragan. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., both visitations are at Wood East Side. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

11 a.m. ,Thursday, February 12, 2015 Wood Funeral Home East Side 963 South Ammon Road Idaho Falls, ID 83406 Notes: The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00-10:45 a.m., both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
