OBITUARY INFORMATION Lorene Phillips Lorene Ellen Knapp Phillips, 81, of Saint Anthony, Idaho, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at her home with her husband by her side. Lorene was born February 7, 1933, in Pocatello, ID, to Howard Alonzo Knapp and Ruby Ellen Nelson Knapp. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In 1952, she married Lynn Walker, and they had a daughter, Julie. They later divorced. She then married Jean Ruff from Salt Lake City in 1960, and they divorced. She married Jess Ferre in 1989, and they were sealed a year later in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple; Jess passed away March 7, 2008. She married Ken Phillips in 2011. She was loved dearly by Ken and his 9 children and their families. She lived for a time in Salt Lake City, where she worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for the Salt Lake Tribune. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed playing golf, playing the piano and her Hawaiian electric guitar. She loved dancing and enjoyed traveling. Lorene is survived by her husband Kenneth Phillips of Saint Anthony, ID; daughter, Julie Nagle and grandson Michael Nagle of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Joyce McBride of Idaho Falls, ID; and her step-children: Ken Jr. (Julie) Phillips of Rexburg, ID; LaRae (Vern) Thurber of Rexburg, ID; Blaine (Cathy) Phillips of Bountiful, UT; Jay (Laurie) Phillips of Idaho Falls, ID; Brenda (Mike) Bloom of Menan, ID; David (Karen) Phillips of Ogden, UT; Lorene (Boyd) Hall of Rexburg, ID; Richard (Tanya) Phillips of Rexburg, ID; James (Elena) Phillips of St. Anthony, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Barbra Campbell, brother Dale Knapp and husband Jess Ferre. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 am to 10:45 am Friday prior to services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
