Lora Bell Johnson Fallis, 87, of Pocatello, passed away October 6, 2017, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation.
Lora was born December 18, 1929, in Shelley, Idaho, to Chris Hansen and Cora Johnson Hansen. She grew up and attended schools in Firth, Idaho.
On June 18, 1946, she married Ermond Lawrence Fallis in Firth, Idaho. To this union were born six children, Amber, Richard, Robert, Mike, Pat, and Jeffery. Lora and Ermond made their home in Basalt, Idaho. Lora later owned and operated Meadow Lane Hotel in Nevada in 1992.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served her mission in Illinois. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, knitting and she won several awards at the state fair. Lora loved to read so much that she wrote her own book titled, " Destiny of the Desert ."
Lora is survived by son, Richard Lawrence (girlfriend, Debra Clark) Fallis of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Amber Loraine (Ben) Miller of NV, son, Mike Leslie Fallis of NV and 9 grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her father, Chris Hansen, mother, Cora Hansen, husband, Ermond Lawrence Fallis, son, Robert Lawrence, Pat Lamar, and Jeffery Lynn Fallis.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon Monday, October 16, 2017, at Fielding Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends from 11-11:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.
