Lonny Rex Johnson

Lonny Rex Johnson, 78, of Menan, passed away at Idaho Falls Community Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lonny was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on August 8, 1946, to Billy Rex Johnson and Faye Elizabeth Crow Johnson. Faye later married Jay Elmer Farnes and had Lonny's siblings, Russell, Mark, Sheree, and Kent.

On May 29, 1969, Lonny married Martha Karleen Hall in Ammon, Idaho. In 1970, they welcomed Shauna Kae, followed by Pat Wayne in 1977.

Lonny is survived by his wife, Karleen; daughter, Shauna Johnson; grandchildren, Chase, Mahria, and Adam; brothers, Russell, Mark, and Kent Farnes; sisters-in-law, Kim Farnes, Cleora Williams, and Sheryl Hayes.

Lonny was preceded in death by his son, Pat Wayne Johnson; grandchildren, Levi Torri, Chelsey, and Tyler Flint; sister, Sheree Lott; his parents; and infant sister, Lorena Beth Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Johnson home, 3527 E. 665 N., Menan, ID.
