Lonnie Leroy Wilde

Lonnie LeRoy Wilde, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 1, 2020, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living.  He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice and his loving family.

Lonnie was born May 12, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Clarence Otto Wilde and Veda June Standley Lazzarotto.  He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.

On June 19, 1998, he married Rose Marie Van Buren in Idaho Falls. Lonnie and Rose made their home in Idaho Falls where Lonnie worked as a custodian for the Bonneville County Courthouse.

He enjoyed playing World of Warcraft, puzzles, and games.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife, Rose Wilde of Idaho Falls; daughters, Jennifer Wilde of Pueblo, CO, Celina Wilde, Misty Wilde, and Vicki (Curt) Sumner of Idaho Falls; sons, Travis Ockerman of Idaho Falls, Richard (Jamie) Ockerman of Blackfoot, ID, and Justin Ockerman of Idaho Falls; sister, Carma (Gary) Messler of Idaho Falls; brothers, Lynn (Sandy) Wilde of Irwin, ID, and  Leslie Wilde of Boise, ID; 27 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his birth father, Uriel Ames; father, Clarence Wilde; and mother, Veda Lazzarotto.
