LOLA SWINYARD
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Lola DeLaine Call Swinyard, 74, of Idaho Falls, died July 22, 2005, at Life Care Center.
She was born August 8, 1930, at Rigby, to Leland Call and DeLaine Bernice Stockham Call. She graduated from Rigby High School. She then attended the Idaho Falls LDS Hospital School of Nursing and received her Nursing Degree.
On November 21, 1952, she married Cleve Theron Swinyard in Rigby. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on January 22, 1966. She was a mother and homemaker and worked as a registered nurse for 40 years at the LDS Hospital, Riverview Hospital and Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was highly respected by the medical community.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served in various positions including Relief Society Teacher. She loved doing family history and served for 7-1/2 years at the Family History Center. Lola’s concern for other’s needs was first and foremost in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Terri Lyn Swinyard; and a granddaughter, Kelli Rae Parkinson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Idaho Falls LDS 28th Ward (1165 Azalea) with Bishop Cleo Geddes officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Fund.
