LOLA G. BARNES
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Lola Gene Passey Barnes, 75, of Idaho
Falls, died October 31, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 28, 1927 at Paris, Idaho to George
Lowell Passey and Helen Lee Passey. She grew up in the area, attended
Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Ammon High School.
On December 23, 1949, she married William P. Barnes in
the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived in Moscow, Cobalt, Arco, Moore
and moved back to Idaho Falls 8 years ago. She was a wife, mother, grandmother,
great grandmother and homemaker. She also worked as a sales clerk, secretary,
and as an office worker in the Butte County Courthouse.
As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, she served in the Relief Society, Primary, and was
a temple worker. She enjoyed crocheting afghans & pillows and gave
many away as gifts; she also loved spending time with her family.

Sister: Darline Nield, Othello, WA
Sister: Karen Page, Strasburg, CO
18 Grandchildren and 3Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pat Harmon.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November
4, 2003, at the Ammon West Stake Center (2055 Coronado) with Bishop Rick
Attebury, of the Ammon 6th Ward, officiating. The family will meet with
friends for one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
