LOIS G. MOLEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Lois Goodsell Molen, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 16, 2007, at her home after a nine year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
She was born October 4, 1927, in Logan, Utah, to Dean C. Goodsell and Ivy Rose Madsen Goodsell. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley, then attended Idaho State University.
She married Weslie Edmund Molen June 7, 1950, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She also worked for 12 years with Margaret Curtis as a preschool teacher and for several years as a teachers' aide at Bush Elementary School.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the Primary, Relief Society, and as a temple worker. Lois had a passion for reading, music, gardening, sports, camping, and art; she was an accomplished knitter and loved to make things for people.

Son: Mace (Pamela) Molen of Taylor, UT
Son: Matt (Tami) Molen of Heber City, UT
Sister: Maxine (Bill) Metzler of Buhl, ID
Sister: Deanna (Kent) Schwendiman of Ucon, ID
11 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Faye Bergreen, and a great grandson, Parker Banks.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007, at the Idaho Falls LDS Mountain View Ward, 1450 Mountain View Lane, with Bishop Kerry Holmgren officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family would like to express gratitude to Aspen Home Health & Hospice for the kind and loving care they have shown us.

My parents just mailed the notice of your Mother's death to me in Houston. I am so sorry to hear that she has passed and offer you my sincerest condolences. I remember her as a beautiful and kind women who always made me feel welcome in your home.
